St. John's Cathedral in Valletta – My Impressions

During my visit to Valletta, I visited St. John's Cathedral. While it looks modest from the outside, its interior is stunning – the gilded walls, rich decorations, and marble tombs of the knights are truly impressive.

I was most moved by two masterpieces by Caravaggio: the monumental "Beheading of St. John the Baptist" and the realistic "St. Jerome Writing." It was an encounter with a true artistic genius that will linger in the memory for a long time.

Additionally, one of the works was presented in multimedia form – close-ups revealed every detail and technique the master used. This allowed me to further understand the artist's genius.
